It is finished! The base for Marie Antoinette is ready!
first course was the changed pattern deal cut and trimmed. The parts are then cycled through again.
So, then sew all pieces together, and then ironed (! Only!) The shoulder seam. Again ironed. I was motivated enough to still incorporate the whalebone. So I called the collapse or drift apart ironed seam allowances. 1.5 cm down from the edges (1-1.5 respectively weggenäht and anything else as a free space for the fish to move leg) position measurement, parallel and 1.5 cm from the sewn edge. The whalebone is 1.3 cm wide margin resulting 1.5 = +0.2). This slipping when sewing anything I have with a few pins seam allowances pinned.
were then sewed the tunnel.
is then the distance measured -1.5 cm (see above as the scope to "move" the whalebone) and can cut.
is then slid the fish bone in the tunnel until it is above the top.
It will look finished like this:
And that's left of the baleen. It gets into each next to the lacing for support (which I can incorporate later!) And the rest I leave for the future hehe.
is finished the foundation! I will turn the base as a whole, ie the bright side is on my body and the "Schirch" to the outside. Why? Since the outer fabric is about it anyway, then I have from both sides so the outside (purple, pink, pink) and inside the bright side. Why is this not been the Maturacorsage so made is beyond me. For by the two sides are exactly symmetrical and equal, it does not matter which is outside and inside.
Now I have to wait until my face fabric comes and then it goes on here =). I will now then continue studying for my oral Matura School.
As an extra for you, brave readers, I'll tell you a little more about weaving - because this is about weaving (better known in Germany as bunting).
~ Webe
weaving is a leindwandbindiges tissue. The minimum number of threads (required) is called Rapport. In the case of the need for a plain weave fabric each 2 shots and 2 warp threads. The chain runs from top to bottom, and the shot from left to right. A plain weave fabric is connected at all corners and therefore a very sturdy fabric. Other plain weave fabrics include batiste or Molino. Also Querrips is plain weave. This is just either a) not apply to two threads per shot, or b) a thicker thread mentioned in the shot. Besides, there are plain weave twill weave and satin weave. About the satin weave I speak when I have the satin that is namely that;).
Soo .. now you have learned something from my graduation fabric and will tell you about the satin fabric was =).
