To try out different colors of yarn, I made six different books with Coptic binding.
Trying some different colors of thread I made six different books with a coptic binding.

black thread on a light background. As a cover, I have a copy of an old map used.
Black thread with a bright background. I used a copy of an old map as cover.
blue-gray thread. Matched by a blue cover: water drops. The thread is unfortunately very thick and twisted very happy, so not really ideal for binding.
Blue-gray thread. To match the thread a blue cover: water drops. The thread is very thick and screws up easily so it's not very good for binding.
a red cover for a thread that was unfortunately not to handle so well.
A red cover for a red thread Which was not easy to handle, too.
In this book, I've used a yellow-orange yarn (which was also pretty crappy) and selected for the cover of a motif with sunflowers. I also have on binding varies a little, so that the covers were on the cross.
I used a yellow-orange kind of thread (it was quite nasty working with it, too), so I chose pictures with sunflowers for the cover. I have also changed the binding a tiny bit as that there are crosses on the covers.
Green may also not be missed, this thread was very thin so you could work a little better. Matched by a green marbled paper for the cover.
This green thread was very thin so it was easier to work with it. To match the thread I used a green marbled paper for the covers.
This book is my favorite. The paper of the cover is a kind of paper in black leather, but which shines green. Since I wanted to make sure that you see the white thread well, I've provided all the paper documents (from normal white paper) in addition to black paper of a paper bag. The paper bag was green on the inside.
This one is my favorite! The paper of the covers is a sort of paper in black leather that is greenish Which shimmers. I wanted to make sure that the white thread can be seen very well so I wrapped every signature of normal white paper with black parts of a paper bag Which is green inside.
